Daniel Lefebvre

Instructor and President

Born in Louiseville (Quebec, Canada), Daniel Lefebvre dedicates his life in teaching sports since almost 25 years.

With NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program), IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) and Pasa (professional air sport association) certifications, Daniel started teaching snowboard in 1989 when the sport was just beginning. At the same time, he spends his summers doing windsurfing competitions on a professional level.

In 1994, he designed the program to form the snowboard instructors all around Canada and participate into the creation of the Canadian Snowboard Federation (CSF). He also was coordinator at The Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) from 1994 to 2005.

Daniel discovered kitesurf in 1999. A few years later, he founded Big Air School, which at the time taught windsurfing, kiting, kitesnowing and snowboarding. A few years later, Daniel decided to dedicate his school to kitesurfing.

Since then, each year, a thousand people choose Big Air to learn or perfect their kitesurfing skills, or to organize their kiting trip in some of the best kiting spots of the world !
